Hi I'm Kae, local cryptid terror, Indonesian transracial adoptee, and interdisciplinary scholar. My main fields of study are Psychology and Linguistics, but I also dip into Communications, History and Korean. My current work involves marginalized groups and parasocial relationships through narratives.

 

Professionally, I work for the Linguistic Data Consortium  at the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, we are working on big data projects for app development based in sociolinguistic research.

I have also been a consultant for and collaborated on video research essays. Projects like that include the video series on Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon by Xiran Jay Zhao and Debunking Transracialism: The History of a Scam by Pax Lillin.

My hobbies, which you will see examples of on this sight, are based in creative works such as makeup, cosplay, and drawing. I also freelance commissions on the side when I am able to. I am the host of the 3AM Thots Podcast as well as a cast member on the Dice Age Podcast and a secret third project which is coming soon.

 

Pulling from my background in linguistics, I've also been preoccupied with creating my own languages for my D&D characters.
